Shinefeel Ghana Company Ltd builds and hands over a three-unit office block to Akuse District Police.
Shinefeel Ghana Company Ltd, a waste management company based at Asutsuare in the Shai-Osudoku District, has constructed and handed over a newly built three-unit office block to the Akuse District Police as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
The Akuse District Police Commander, Chief Superintendent, Cletus Kofi Abadamloora, expressed appreciation to Shinefeel Ghana Company Ltd for the gesture.
He explained that the police had been using a police bungalow as office space because the original offices constructed for the District Police as far back as 1911 had become unfit for use.
He said the new facility Will significantly improve the working environment for employees and enhance the Police Service's ability to deliver on its mandate.
The Eastern Regional Police Commander, DCOP Joseph Owusu Bempah, also commended Shinefeel Ghana Company Ltd for supporting the Police.
DCOP Owusu Bempah emphasised, that the facility is an asset belonging to the Akuse community and urged residents to help protect and maintain it for the benefit of the Police and the wider community.
The MCE for Lower Manya, John Atter Matey, commended the Akuse Police for what he described as their important role in maintaining security and serving communities across parts of both the Eastern and Greater Accra Regions.
He pledged to collaborate with the Deputy Minister for the Interior and the Inspector-General of Police IGP, to explore ways of bringing additional police personnel to the area to strengthen security.
The Administrator of Shinefeel Ghana Company Ltd, Mr. John Dziwornu, said the company is delighted to contribute to the Police's efforts to maintain peace and security in the area.
He said the donation forms part of the company's commitment to supporting initiatives that have a positive impact on the communities within its operational area.
The spokesperson for the Osudoku Traditional Council, Nene Aklebetor George Amanor, also commended Shinefeel Ghana Company Ltd for the initiative.
He appealed to other corporate organisations in the area to emulate what Shinefeel has done.
The new office block is expected to provide a more conducive working environment for personnel at the Akuse District Police Headquarters and contribute to improved policing and security services in the area.
