Sanitation Exercise
Members of the East Ghana Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist, SDA, Church in Koforidua participated in the two-day national sanitation exercise declared by the government.
They could not join the general exercise due to their day of worship which falls on the scheduled date.

They started the exercise around 7am and cleaned the Koforidua -Kumasi and Accra lorry stations.
The President of the East Ghana Conference of the SDA Church, Pastor Dr Ernest Ofosu commended all the members who participated in the exercise
However, he said the clean up exercise is commendable but urged citizens not to let government impose force on them before cleaning their frontages.
He attributed the recent flooding to human behavior and called for attitudinal change. Pastor Dr. Ofosu extended his condolences to the families who loss their sons and daughters in the incident.
He also appealed to government to put measures in place to address flooding issues in the country.
