NDC Deputy National Youth Organizer hopeful proposes income generating venture to support the party's youth wing.
The Eastern Regional Deputy Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, Fohad Agbenyadzi, has officially declared his intention to contest the Deputy National Youth Organizer position.
During a recent engagement with youth and deputy youth organizers in Koforidua, Mr. Agbenyadzi outlined his strategic campaign message focused on building a self-sustaining youth wing.
His core vision aims to eliminate financial dependence on party financiers, who often demand appointments and contracts in return for their support.
He proposes establishing a commercial entity to engage in legitimate business activities, such as competitive tendering and project execution.
Part of the generated revenue will be used directly to fund the party's nationwide operations.
He plans to head a major financial campaign to secure 50 million Ghana cedis in seed capital to launch his commercial and welfare initiatives.
To offer crucial social and health protections, he plans to roll out an insurance scheme to cover medical costs from accidents and support local grassroots youth leaders in times of emergency.
Policy framework also incorporates structured allowances for local constituency-level youth organizers to ease their financial burden and keep the political base highly motivated.
The Eastern Regional Director of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Dennis Mensah Akorli, strongly endorsed Mr. Agbenyadzi's national bid, praising his visible zeal, benevolence, and actionable solutions for the advancement of young people within the NDC.
