Saviour SHS and Ofori Panin SHS were eliminated at the quarter-final stage of the competition, while Bright SHS made history as the first private school to reach the semi-finals.

Speaking to GBC News, Mr. Addo-Frempong said the donation is intended to recognise the students’ achievements and equip them with the technological tools needed for further studies.

“Coming from Abuakwa North, we have never had this kind of success, where three schools from here reach the quarter-finals, and then one goes up to the semi-final of the NSMQ. It is important that we acknowledge the achievements of these young lads, and by so doing, we help with the little we can,” he said.
